2024 Parish Rice Bowl Grants

Archdiocese of San Francisco 2024 Parish Rice Bowl Grants

We are pleased to announce that the application period for the Archdiocese of San Francisco 2024 Parish Rice Bowl Grants is now open.

These grants are open to parish food pantries and ministries in the Archdiocese of San Francisco that are dedicated to fighting hunger in our local communities. Ministries are asked to apply for funding by December 6, 2024.

Please note that this grant is solely for Parishes in the Archdiocese of San Francisco.

The funds come from the Catholic Relief Services Rice Bowl program, held each year during Lent. If your parish would like to participate in the Rice Bowl program and support these grants, as well as programs around the globe, please contact us.

2024 Rice Bowl Grant Application

Activate language translation

For security and simplicity, we recommend activating your web browser’s translation option.  Refer to your browser’s specific details on translation; the following may help you.

Google Chrome (Desktop & Android)

  • In the top right corner of your browser, click on the three-dot menu (⋮) > Settings > Languages.
  • Toggle: Under “Translate,” turn on Use Google Translate or “Offer to send pages in other languages to Google Translate”.
  • Usage: If a page is in a foreign language, a prompt will appear in the address bar to translate it. 

Microsoft Edge

  • Go to Settings > Languages.
    Toggle on Offer to translate pages that aren’t in a language I read. 

Firefox

Firefox has a built-in translation feature. If not active, right-click any webpage and select Translate Page to enable the feature. 

Safari (iOS)

  • Navigate to Settings > General > Language & Region to add secondary languages, allowing translation of web pages. 

Troubleshooting
If translation does not work, check your browser extensions for conflicts or ensure the browser is updated to the most recent version.
