From early morning Mañanitas and Masses to the shower of rose petals at Mission Dolores to school reenactments of St. Juan Diego’s encounter with Our Lady, Dec. 12 is a special day in the Archdiocese of San Francisco.
Here are a few pictures from the many events that honored Our Lady, including Archbishop Cordileone’s Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church and celebrations at Stella Maris Academy, St. Raphael’s School, St. Finn Barr Catholic Church, Our Lady of Loretto Catholic Church, Sacred Heart Cathedral High School, St. Matthews Catholic Church, and Mission Dolores Basilica.
