What is The National Eucharistic Revival?
The bishops of the United States have called for a three-year grassroots revival of devotion and belief in the Real Presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
This revival launched nationally on the feast of the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body & Blood of Christ (Corpus Christi) June 19, 2022.The National Eucharistic Revival aims to be a movement that renews the Church by enkindling a living relationship with Jesus Christ in the Eucharist.
This three-year endeavor begins with the diocesan year to focus especially on prayer, building awareness, and formation across Diocesan Leaders of the Archdiocese.
The second year—the parish year—will be an opportunity for parishes to engage the Revival more deeply through small groups and families in their respective parishes.
The third year—the year of mission or sending—July 21, 2024 – Pentecost 2025 will be marked by a National Eucharistic Congress July 17 – 21, 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana. We look forward to assembling more than 80,000 faithful to reconsecrate their hearts to the source and summit of our faith.
Visit the National Eucharistic Revival website for more information.
2024 National Eucharistic Congress and Pilgrimage
The culmination of the three-year National Eucharistic Revival will be a National Eucharistic Congress in July of 2024 in Indianapolis, Indiana. The Congress “will be an experience of prayer: a liturgical act offering the Catholic Church—those in attendance in Indianapolis as well as across the country—to the Father, through the Son, and in the Holy Spirit.”
Leading up to the National Congress, there will be a National Eucharistic Pilgrimage beginning from four points in the United States: Archdiocese of San Francisco, California; Diocese of Brownsville, Texas; Diocese of Crookston, Minnesota; and the Archdiocese of Hartford, Connecticut.
Each route of the National Eucharistic Pilgrimage will begin on Pentecost weekend (May 18-19, 2024) and arrive in Indianapolis on July 16. Sundays will include major Eucharistic processions and minor processions will take place during the week as pilgrims walk 10-15 miles a day from parish. Stops will be made at Catholic universities. Pilgrims can engage in service projects on Saturdays. Parish events along the way include 40- hour devotions, holy hours, pilgrim testimonies and lectures on the Real Presence.

Prayer for the Eucharistic Revival
My God, I believe, I adore, I hope and I love You! I beg pardon for those who do not believe, nor adore, nor hope, nor love You. Most Holy Trinity, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, I adore You profoundly. I offer You the most precious Body, Blood, Soul and Divinity of Jesus Christ, present in all the tabernacles of the world in reparation for the outrages, sacrileges and indifference by which He is offended. And, through the infinite merits of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the Immaculate Heart of Mary, I beg of You the conversion of sinners.
Our Lady of Fatima, pray for us!
